Dalek Empire - The Human Factor
This is part 2 out of 4 of the first series of Dalek Empire. Let's see what this is all about, shall we?
"Alby Brook and Gordon Pellan are following the best information they have to locate Suz in Dalek-infested space. But what is it the Daleks want with her?
On the slave planet Guria, Alby discovers Suz is already gaining a reputation as something of an angel of mercy. Could it be that she is now working for the Daleks?
But as Suz and Kalendorf travel from planet to planet, a murmur of defiance is growing… 'Death to the Daleks… death to the Daleks…'"
This can be purchased at BigFinish.com
What did you think? Is it about time more planets are thinking these Dalek fellas should be stopped? What do you think is coming up?
Dalek Empire: The Human Factor
Whoa....cliffhanger! Too bad I have to go to a meeting soon and can't listen to the next one right away. So clearly in this one, the Daleks dominance is a little larger than we thought, and it's definitely taking time for a rebellion to form. I mean, 6 months between the last one and this one, and there's been progress, yes, but still so far to go.
I think the big question in this one is which way Suz's allegiance is starting to swing. Her telling to Daleks to exterminate that group of people, I mean wow. Begs the question of how far is one willing to go for the great good? Or has she lost sight of the great good? Either way, an interesting way her and Kalendorf are going about spreading word of a rebellion. Obviously the Gurians got it all figured out with the Earth Alliance though. Now we'll see if the other Dalek-infested places can reclaim their planets...and their lives.
I love that her and Alby get a glimpse of each other too. Did the Daleks do that on purpose? Do they know their connection? I just don't know!
I can't wait to find out.

I guess this one was the Angel of Mercy...
Yeah, so the story develops quite well, and things get interesting. Turns out this guy Suze met while slaving in the Vaganite mines (last episode i think) is some other race where they train these super soldiers that have psychic abilities. so he and Suze convince everyone enslaved to work well (Efficiently) so that the Daleks can repay them in food or rest; so either help the invading Daleks or get worked to death or just Exterminated on the spot. once she's fed and rested, turns out she has hope and wants to live on so she spreads hope to others and voila, she's the angel of mercy, but more like she's a tool for the Daleks.

Sneaky Episode
This is an odd episode because it feels like a set-up episode and yet I feel that a lot still happened in it. The ramifications of the Angel of Mercy situation is fantastic. I really believed this is where the characters would move forward with this. Alby better hurry up and get closer because I want him closer to the main plot. I'm liking the start of the rebellion, but I'm doubtful because they have so much conquered.
This is extremely well done. Also they are keeping some continuity with Robomen, which is cool! I'm starting Part III right away.

A really nice follow up to the first part. There were a few places I really liked but enjoyed the first one more overall. I loved when Susan told the Daleks to exterminate the rebels. I wonder how far she is willing to go and what the Dalek's plan for her is. I'm curious as to how they're going to rebel when the Daleks have such a firm control, especially when a single Dalek can wipe out half a band of rebels.
